I have always been fascinated by the Great Pyramid of Giza. Despite the vast amount of info that is available on it on the Internet, there is still much that people are left in the dark about. Efrem Piccin’s Italian book Hemiunu, L’Architetto is a fount of information for those in quest of more knowledge re the Pyramid.
Translation of that is my next book venture. Read here how that came about despite the fact I do not know Italian!
I have finished translating half the book and hope to finish the rest by end of 2013. Here is what Efrem writes (it is a translation; his original email is in Italian):
“I’m reading “the Grand Gallery” and I know it was very complicated. Although my English is very academic, I am frankly amazed at the goodness of your work. How you are able to translate this part so complex without knowing Italian is a mystery to me. I do not know how to thank you, but it is truly a work of excellent quality”
I was, of course, thrilled with his response. I know he had been very worried how on earth I was going to pull it off.
